Brandon, Florida thrives just thirteen miles east of Tampa. It offers exquisite homes with sparkling water views and quiet streets lined with mature trees. John Brandon founded the community 1857. Public transportation is available through Hillsborough Area Regional Transit bus lines. HART provides local and express route services and paratransit services for physically challenged riders. HART links Brandon with Tampa for inexpensive and stress-free commuting. HARTFlex serves Brandon to ease otherwise difficult connections. The Interstate 60 runs through Brandon and connects to the I-75. Tampa International Airport is about 20 miles west of Brandon and connects it to the rest of the world.
